There is nothing to be afraight at night
There is nothing to be afraight at night. Escritora de México. Poesia en ingles.
If your heart goes restless and scared when the sky changes from bright to dark, let me tell you my darling, there is nothing to be afraight at night.
Because only in those hours of dark we can see millions of stars.
If you can´t close your eyes because weird shadows and strange noises haunt your sleep, let me tell you my dear, there is nothing to be afraight at night.
Just pay attention, and listen to the wind, he will tell you stories of forgotten heroes and pretty mermaids in the sea.
Or if it`s rainning, and roaring thunders shake the ground, let me tell you sweetheart, there is nothing to be afraight at night.
Is just that God is laughing high above, sitted comfortably on squishy clouds listening to the funny things drops of rain can tell.
If you ever feel lonely and blue, let me tell you honey, there is nothing to be afraight at night.
Just take a look outside the window, and you`ll see all those little lights all over the city, behind each light there`re guardian angels in disguise, who watch over us like nurses and doctors, like the bakerman, and firefighters, and even those writers who type all night long to have the crosswords ready on the paper at the crack of dawn.
So, now that you now, my love, that night only keeps beautiful secrets, fantastic tales, angels and hidden songs, you can turn the light off, and let the moon swing you all night long with her bright arms and listen to this lullaby i just made up to make you smile … because, remember, there is nothing to be afraight at night.

La poesía es buena, dice cosas lindas, pero me gustaría que se pronunciara bien el ingles para darle el verdadero sentido a lo que la escritora quiere decir.
